Dilyn had her 15 month appointment last week. She is in the 10th percentile for weight and 90th for height. She is perfectly healthy and took her shots like a champ. The doctor was VERY impressed with her vocabulary which makes me very proud. She said a 15 month old usually knows 3-5 words, but Dilyn knows quite a bit more than that. So far she can say: hi, bye, mama, dada, night-night, bath time, up, fast, nana (banana), berry, wawa (water), no, all done, baby, teeth, ball, vroom-vroom, beep-beep, Eldon (Brooke & Keith's dog), Keith and my very favorite...thank you. She is also starting to understand a lot more of what we say. Some other updates...
...she LOVES blueberries, eggs, waffles and yogurt
...she still only has 2 bottom teeth, but her upper teeth are VERY close to coming in
...she loves to walk around with the BBQ sauce that she gets out of the canned food cupboard
...she is off the soy milk and on whole
...she is learning to eat with a spoon (kind of...)
...she loves shopping and says hi to EVERYONE (usually at least 5 times each)
...she loves outside and actually plays when she goes to the park
...she is very much into motor sounds, especially Mike's motorcycle. when we're driving around town and she sees a motorcycle she says vroom-vroom
...she says hi to the barristas at the Starbuck's drive thru
...she is good at going to bed, typically
...she's got a great laugh
...she says mmmmmm when she is getting ready to eat

15 month update

Dilyn is using a spoon? wow. That's quite a list of accomplishents for a girl of 15 months. Obviously, Mommy and Daddy are doing lots of things right. You guys are great.
