Happy Birthday to Mike! Actually, his birthday is tomorrow, but with the help of our fabulous friends we were able to pull off a surprise birthday. How? Well, Holly's parents have an incredible lake house about an hour south of our house that they are remodeling a portion of. I simply told Mike that Carol (Holly's mom) needed a little help (he has helped out before so this was pretty convincing). Since it was his birthday weekend I proposed we went to the lake house to help out and then go to Brown County and have a nice dinner (Brown County is a touristy little place near the lake house). He was down with the idea. So, the night before I took a sleep over bag, food, cake, balloons, presents, etc. to Holly and Ashton's. They brought it all down along with some other things this morning before we got there. Amber, Zach, Brooke and Keith also got there beforehand with even more stuff for the BBQ. I secretly phoned the house just before we got there and just hung up so they new we were close. It was fun to walk in the door and yell surprise with all of them. We had a delicious BBQ and cake, open presents and the boys went fishing. After Dilyn had her dinner us girls headed for home so Mike could enjoy a fun night with the guys doing whatever it is that guys do when the wives aren't there. I hope they are having a blast!! Thanks to everyone for making it a special day for Mike. Thanks to Rollie and Carol for letting us use the lake house...it was perfect!

Happy Birthday, Mike!! What a great surprise party! I know Jamie has been pretty excited about it. The lake house looks so relaxing and a lot of fun. We'll be calling you a little later. You are the best. Take care and have fun. We love you so much.
